news from the bird
Building an exact model of a house from the 19th century is a hell lot of work.
And doing it in your holidays for a stupid academy course you had to take doesn't make it fun at all. =(
These are the two tops I designed for my fashion design T-shirt collection (we could choose between t-shirts, tops, tanks and longsleeves).
The prints were made with Marabu fabric paint.
And the photos were taken by Heike Herden who's in my course. Go chec out her website at www.heikeherden.de . She's got a lot of awsome pictures on it.
This is a quick cartoony illustration I made of myself wearing the stuff I had on for a typography workshop. (I'm actually not that tall )
I got this idea from Viet-My Bui or Ravenscar who does this cute "What I wore" on a regular basis.
It was a lot of fun and I want to do those every day now.
This is a print I did for myself after having so much fun at the fashion design course.
( We made a T-shirt collection. More about that comming soon.)
And I realy wanted a bag with a bird on it so this is what it turned out to be.
I used Marabu fabric paint in dark violet for the bird and pistachio for the twig.
Afterwards when the paint had dried it had to be ironed to stay permanently.
Then I sew green sequins of mother-of-pearl on it serving as leaves.
I can't wait to get my hands on some more bags to do other designs I have in mind. =)
